In line with every other business, Cashmere Centre is monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and following guidelines.
Our number one priority, as always, is the well-being of our customers and staff. However with a few sensible changes implemented this end it’s business as usual.
We would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to minimise risk and disruption. Our measures mean that we are able to operate as normal, orders are being taken and product is being shipped out to customers.
Hopefully by now you have our latest catalogue to browse through at home (if you don’t give us a call or email). Our staff are here on the phones and will be more than happy to take your order (and as usual have a chat!).
Parcel and letter delivery from Royal Mail Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels.
We are ensuring all worksurfaces in our office and warehouse are sanitised, staff are kept as far apart as possible and hand washing guidelines are strictly followed. Any staff who have travelled recently or who are in the slightest bit ill have been asked to stay at home. In addition Royal Mail have advised us that if an item is unable to pass through your letterbox, they will place it at your door then step aside whilst you retrieve it.
They will not be handing over hand-held devices to capture signatures, instead they will simply log the name of the person accepting the item.
We thank you for your continued support at this difficult time. Hopefully by following the guidelines, staying safe and with no small measure of good old fashioned British spirit, we will get through this together!
